Fantasia Pet Resort has 108 pet guest accommodations throughout our resort property located  in four separate buildings.

All buildings are temperature controlled year round. The floors are heated through radiant floor heating during the winter and air conditioned during the summer months. Heated floors are great for all animals especially for those who have bad joints, or hip problems. Our guests do not sit on cold concrete floors!

Our enclosures are 4 1/2' wide by 15' long. The outdoor portion of all the rooms are covered by the kennel building.  Our guests are free to go in and out as much as they want till bed time. Bed time depends on temperature and time of the year.

Our guests are boarded according to size. Small dogs board in separate buildings from larger dogs. We also have larger rooms reserved for extra large breeds or families with multiple large dogs boarding in the same enclosure.

For example our  larger enclosure will easily and comfortably accommodate two 175 pound Newfoundlands together, or a family of three Goldens.

All rooms are separated by 2' high concrete walls with chain link enclosing the top of each room. This allows the guest to see their neighbors next door and across the hall.

Smaller breed accommodations have 9 inch concrete walls separating each enclosure allowing them to see their neighbors.

Kennel staff sanitize each building and each enclosure daily with a non-caustic sanitizing foam designed specifically for boarding facilities and vet hospitals.

Staff also check each building hourly checking to make sure each pet has a fresh full bowel of water and keep all enclosures clean until bed time.

SPECIAL NEEDS:

Our trained staff at Fantasia Pet Resort understand that some of our guests may have special needs.

BRAND NEW!  Fantasia will be offering "All Inclusive Suites" which will include a choice of Pet & Play or Walk Time, and a snack before bed time. Choice of cheese or peanut butter Kong,  or pup sickle included. All suites are furnished with raised comfy pillow top beds. Suite rooms will have personal dishes and art work on the walls of each room. These rooms are for small breed dogs only.

Small room price is $30/day
Large room is $35/day per dog.

Individual PlayTimes   For our canine guest we provide a large yard, which surrounds the kennel building.  It is fenced by a 6 foot high chain link fence and one of our kennel techs monitor and/or play with your dog(s) in the yard for about 20 minutes for an additional charge.

You may customize the times your dogs get to run free in the yard; for instance, every day, or every other day, etc.  Or, for more fun and a "romping good time" your pet may join one of our Day Care Play Group Sessions

Dogs get a lot of exercise just running in and out of their indoor/outdoor enclosures all day long as they meet and greet incoming guests and say their goodbyes to departing guests.

What to Expect When Your Pet Returns Home After Boarding

Your pet will undoubtedly be happy to see you after your trip.  Following a few simple steps will ease the transition back to home life.
  • Overexcitement may make a pet pant a lot and act thirsty. He is probably not really thirsty, and had plenty of water available at the boarding facility. Give him a few ice cubes to tide him over until he settles down.

  • Food, but please be aware that excessive drinking and eating may lead to digestive upsets and bloating. Do not feed your pet for at least three hours after coming home from the kennel, and then limit the food and water you provide until he has settled back into normal home life.

  • Walk your pet upon arrival or allow access to a yard area. Excitement may also cause a change in urination or bowel movements outside his normal schedule.

  • Give your pet some personalized attention -- some play time or sitting and petting or brushing him will help him get through the excitement state and calm down.

  • Kennel life can be very exciting, and some dogs charge around barking at other dogs and having a wonderful time. These dogs often leave the kennel exhausted but happy, and sleep a lot the first couple of days they are home.

  • Re-establish home patterns by following a normal schedule. Pets love following a schedule -- it makes them feel safe and secure.
